Instructions
What are the packaging requirements for reflective sheeting?
Each roll of reflective sheeting should be wrapped in PET film and sealed with tape. It must then be suspended in a carton using a bracket. The outer packaging should be clearly marked to indicate that it needs to be protected from rain, exposure to sunlight, heavy pressure, and should be kept away from fire and heat sources.
What are the transportation for reflective sheeting?
Reflective sheeting should be handled with care to avoid collisions. Before transportation, check for any damage to the packaging; if any damage is found, it should be sealed before transporting. When transporting used reflective sheeting, it must be fixed with plastic brackets and then packed securely. Large-area reflective sheeting can be rolled into a large tube for easier transport. For reflective sheeting cut into smaller pieces, it should be stacked for transportation, with a maximum stacking height of 5cm, which is approximately 100 sheets.
What are the storage requirements for reflective sheeting after purchase?
Reflective sheeting should be used within one year of purchase. It must be stored in a dry, clean, and ventilated room, away from acids, alkalis, and other corrosive materials, as well as humidity and direct sunlight, and at least 2 meters away from heat sources. The indoor temperature should be maintained between 5℃ and 35℃, with relative humidity not exceeding 70%. Before use, the reflective sheeting should be placed in an environment with a temperature of 20-28℃ for 24 hours to ensure optimal adhesive performance. Additionally, when stacking, the sheeting must be aligned according to the arrows, with boxes stacked neatly in a maximum of 5 layers, and cross stacking or mixing boxes of different sizes is prohibited.
What are the guidelines for cutting reflective sheeting?
The cutting environment must be clean to prevent dust and debris from adhering to the film due to static electricity. The temperature should be maintained between 20-28℃, with indoor humidity not exceeding 70%. If humidity is too low, it can be adjusted by sprinkling water on the ground or using a humidifier. The cutting knife must be clean and sharp, and the cutting mat should have a flat, hard surface. When cutting, the blade should be inclined at an angle of 10° to 30°. Films of the same shape and size should be stacked flat on a plate, with a maximum stacking height of 5cm (about 100 sheets). It is essential to avoid contaminating the reflective sheeting with stains or scratching it, as this can impact its reflective brightness. When using a cutting plotter, the cutter head pressure should be set to 400-500g, and the cutting speed should be 2-3cm/s. Always check that the cutter head is sharp before use and opt for high-quality, larger cutter heads for engraving. Unused reflective sheeting can be returned to its original packaging or rolled up tightly on a stand, but it should not be placed against a wall or in contact with other films.
